If someone had told me several years ago that I was the creator of my reality I probably would've laughed out loud. Like, for real. Now the idea of creating my experience in life feels incredibly empowering because I have learned through my own life experience that this is true.

After years of blindly stumbling through childhood trauma and then attempting to mask it with substance abuse and unhealthy relationships - wondering why I was having life-threatening, stress related illnesses - I started to realize that the universe was trying to send me a message. Once I finally stopped seeking validation, love and a sense of wholeness outside of myself, my life shifted dramatically.

I realized through my consistent practices of meditation and yoga, loads of self-development books, and a willingness to be honest with myself, that the answers were within ME. 

Me - the girl who believed that life was always attacking her and felt like she just couldn't get her shit together. The girl who spent years living in victim mentality and fear-based thinking and who spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to please others  - even at the cost of her own joy and inner peace.

This is why I'm here. This is why I teach yoga and write vulnerably about my life experiences and realizations. Because I want to help others unearth this simple yet seemingly hard to grasp truth - hopefully with way less drama than I created for myself over the years!

Get quiet, get to know your Self, and start creating the life you truly want.
